Ancestry of the Facey family in Jamaica

I am looking for anyone who may have some background info. on the ancestry of the Facey family residing in the parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Can you go back as far as the first occurence of the records for the Facey family in that
parish?

Facy or Facey family of Egloskerry, Cornwall and Ashburton, Devon

One of my ancestors is believed to be the JOSEPH FACY born at Egloskerry, Cornwall in 1706, probably the Joseph Facy who married Elizabeth LUGGAR at Egloskerry or nearby Tremaine in 1732. They appear to have borne at least two children, both christened at Egloskerry: (i) Honour Facy 1732 (7 months after parents married), (ii) Peter Facy 1735.
PETER FACY ch.1732 married Frances COCK at St. Genny’s, Cornwall in 1768. They had 9-10 children, all christened at Egloskerry: Joseph 1769, John 1770,Peter 1774, Anne 1775, Margaret 1775(presumably an infant death), Margaret 1777, Honnour [sic] 1779, William 1781, James 1783, and Frances 1785. The family moved 30 miles to Ashburton, Devon (about 30 miles from Egloskerry), presumably after their last child was christened in 1785.
PETER FACY ch.1774 married MARY SMERDON at Ashburton, Devon or at Buckland (in-the-Moor?) in 1802-04. They had 7 children, all born in Ashburton: Elizabeth 1804-ca1859 (m.1825 Captain John Lovitt); Mary 1806-1875 (m.1827 William Worthy & m.1830 Edward Wilkinson); Frances 1809-1843 (m.1827 Joseph William Woolley in Hobart); Joseph 1812-1869 (m.1848-50 Hannah Saunders); John 1818-1860; Anne 1820-1871 (m.1840-43 Captain Samuel James Lindsay); Peter 1822-1890 m.1850 Eliza Vautin.
All of the Facy family emigrated to Tasmania in 1824.

I was wondering if there anyone has any connections?
The family name appears to have sometimes been spelt as Facey in the earlier years.

I am attempting to trace the ancestors of JOHN FACEY, who, at age 17, was convicted of stealing another man's watch and transported to Sydney, Australia in 1883 on the ship "Lord Lynedock". His Ticket of Leave was granted in 1839. He married Eliza MOLYNEAUX, also a convict, who was transported on the ship "Minerva". His Australian family history is documented, but I would like information on his British ancestors and his background.

All information anyone has would be very much appreciated.

Hi can anyone tell me any info re my grandfather, i know his mother was Florence Mary Symes (of whom i know nothing )and Arthur was born with the surname Symes and later it appears as Facey, he moved to Liverpool and was married 3 times i believe. Alfred James Facey was down as his father on one of his marriage certs, its confussing to say the least, any info gratefully received.

I am looking for information on the Faceys.

I have a Sarah "Saddie" Facey who married a Joseph Rossiter.

I believe Sarah's parents to be Samuel Facey (1853 - PA) and Annie (1862 - PA).

From my investigation I believe that Samuel's parents were John H Facey & Elizabeth.

They had the following children

John H jr - 1840 - PA
Sarah A - 1842 - PA
Alexander 1845 - Pa
William 1847 - PA
Elizabeth 1850 - PA
Catherine 1851 - PA
Josephine 1853 - PA
Samuel 1853 - PA
George - 1855 - PA
Mary 1866 - PA.

Not sure if I have all of thie right. but it is a start.

She was Frances (Fanny) Facey, married James Winchester at Bristol on 10 August 1779. I can't find details of any other Faceys in Bristol until about 1820. (One of these went to Australia). In particular I'm trying to find whether there is any link between Fanny and the Combe Martin Faceys in Devon.

Mr. Facey had worked at NBC since 1967 before his death April 13 in New York. In addition to " Today, " his voice was heard on " Meet the Press, " CNBC ' s " News With Brian Williams " and weekend " Today " and " Nightly News " broadcasts.

I recently received information about my elusive Mary Ann Facey from a gentleman in England who searched for me. The information is as follows:
Mary Ann Facey born 27Sept.1825 in Ashwater Devon, Hollacombe and died April 9, 1910. Her father was Samuel Pearce Facy born June 12,1797 in Ashwater and her mother was Elizabeth Brown born Oct.14,1819 in Hollacombe.Other children were Willmot Facey, Elizabeth Facey, Alexander Facey, Thomas Martyn Facey and Samuel Pearce Facey.
My Mary Ann married Solomon Bowden and from the information provided to me, it appears that Alexander Facey and Willmot Weeks were the parents of Samuel Pearce Facy;and it goes back to Leonard Facey back to Leonarde Ffacye born in 1605 in Boyton, Cornwall England.

I would be grateful for any assistance with information regarding John FACEY, born 1829 in Combe Martin to John FACEY and unknown. John (Jr.) married Caroline Yeo ( born 1832, in Totnes, Devon, England - her parents were Isaac Yeo and Ann Harvey) on 20 Nov 1853 in Plymouth.
John and Caroline had a daughter, Elizabeth Ann FACEY (born 27 Aug 1856 at 19 Bath Street, Plymouth, Devon, England) who married Arthur John HARVEY (born 7 Oct 1855 in Tregonissey, St. Austell, Cornwall, England - his parents were Peter HARVEY and Ann TREGILGAS) on 22 Aug 1875 at Trinity Church, Holy Trinity Parish, Plymouth.

John and family are recorded in the 1861 Census as resident at 9 Railway Cottage, St Andrew Parish, Plymouth. His occupation is recorded as Blacksmith. The 1881 Census records John as a widower visiting the family, SCOBLE in Kea, Cornwall.

John's daughter, Elizabeth Ann, and her husband, Arthur John HARVEY, immigrated to Adelaide, South Australia, arriving on 7 October, 1876, by way of the ship, Robert Lees, from Plymouth. Their then only child, son Edwin, died on this journey at 6 months of age.

I am also researching the families, HARVEY - St Austell, Cornwall, YEO - St Austell & St Breward, Cornwall and TREGILGAS - St Austell and Gwennap, Cornwall.
