My father Fred Hufft was born in Slidell on
September 5,1896. His sister Augusta "Gussie" married Joe Faciane. and lived on or near Cleveland Avenue,Her daughter Uranie married Simon Hover and the other daughter Ruby married Spencer Deyo. I have fond memories of trips to Slidell from our home in Lumberton,MS. I am having trouble finding out information about my grandfather Edward Bernard and my great grandfather Jacob who by the way was the first postmaster of Slidell. Please help.
