I'm looking for info on a Capt James Factor, 1st Seminole Battalion (CSA). He may have been killed in Feb. 1864 in the Chickasaw or Choctaw Nation.

Looking for information and descendents of these couples. Fanny Siegel married Max Factor in 1906. Dora Siegel married Barnet Litant. Possible parents were Morris Siegel and Sophie Groogensky, according to Fanny's marriage record. The parents came to NY and stayed there.

Thank you for the information. I am trying to find out info for a friend who doesn't have a computer. Her Dad either doesn't know, or won't talk about his family. The Siegel girls father was married twice, so we are having trouble finding out who his wives were, and which children belong to which wife. Minnie Siegel moved out to Washington state where she married briefly, then died in California. And of course the death records I have found do not list parents!

Erla Mautz Factor, 92, passed away at 10:07 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Summerville at North Hills, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born in Girard, Ohio to Paul and Nellie Walters Hoadley she She was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church and the American Business Women's Association, founder of the House of Treasures Gift Shop and founder of Our Parlor Restaurant in Zanesville.

Surviving are two daughters, Dolores (Howard) Mitchell and Barbara (James) Lewis, all of Zanesville, Ohio; a brother, Robert (Rosie) Hoadley of Zanesville; two sisters, Delores Kauf of Medina, Ohio and Joann Munyan of Seville, Ohio; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Rose (Harold) Forsythe, Kathy (Tony) Robinson.

Ms. Factor was preceded by her parents, Paul and Nellie Walters Hoadley; a son, Fred E. Mautz; two brothers, Emmett and Paul Hoadley; three sisters, Florence Moore, Francis Robbins, and Yvonne Wisecarver; a granddaughter, Paula Mautz Lewis; and a special friend, Warren Sharkey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at Coburn United Methodist Church.
Burial will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Zanesville, Ohio.
