Just started researching Faid family for a friend.
She has Letitia b 1901 Greenock Scotland (She married a MacGibbon)
Her father Robert b 1867 (m Mary Maargaret Beck in Greenock).
His father John (b 1842 Durham Northumberland UK) married Sarah Jones.
John's father Robert b 1806 (possibly a chemist) may have married twice. Agness or Alice and then Jane Young (nee Carter).
