Hi Robin,

Here is the article from Rene's book:

Jakob Knutson Fadnes, a farmer at Lake Mills, Iowa, born in Evanger
Parish, Voss, December 8, 1843, son of Knut Ellingson Væte from Vangen’s Parish,
who lived at the place Nesbø, Fadnes (see above). He emigrated May 7, 1866 and
came through Detroit, MI to Spring Prairie, Wisconsin, and started with farm labor;
then moved to Silver Lake Township, Worth County, IA, and lived there until after
many years he moved to Lake Mills, where he has lived since, but owned the farm.
He was a school director and a road inspector in the town and member of the
Norwegian Lutheran Church. He was married to Ragnilda Olsdatter Bolstad April
7, 1875, also from Voss. They had eight children: Knut, born in 1876; Olai, born in
1877; Anna, born in 1879, married to C. R. Paulson; Carl, born in 1880; Martina,
