As per the thread on this list, am grandson of Evangeline (Doble) Fagerstrom. Her father (Lucius Alston Doble, sp?) as I understand it, was from MN and immigrated to Colorado and eventually to Pacific Northwest. Am interested in discovering history from early 1900's in MN, in particular, LAA. Doble and family - where they imigrated from.

I am a granddaughter of Evangeline Fagerstrom. She passed away when I was quite young, so I don't have that many memories of her except for a book that she wrote about her life raising her children.

I hear she was a great woman - my aunts and uncles on my father's side are awesome people, so she must have done something right :)

If you have any stories about her I would love to hear them. Please contact me at my e-mail.

Thank you ~ Gail (Fagerstrom) Harris

Lucius Alston was my great Uncle. His parents, Lucius and Jemima Doble are my maternal great grandparents. I have a poem composed by L A Doble's sister about the family's migration from Maine to Washington. E-mail me for more information.
Also have obits, of Lucuis, Jemima and your grandmother, Evangeline.

I am not opposed to adding it here, I think it would be rather large though, 5 pages.
