My maiden name is Faherty,I just started the search this week and traced family back to Joseph and Barbara Faherty Boston Mass from Ireland. I will begin trying to go back into Irish history. My youngest son & I will be planning a trip for late spring early summer 2010 and will enjoy any stories. I have been surprised to find other Faherty's.
