Hi all, my father (John Joseph Faherty) was born in Cong, Co. Mayo in 1933. Two of his uncles, Thomas and Michael, emigrated to Poughkeepsie probably around the 1920s or 30s. One was a policeman, the other ran an ironmonger's shop there. Anyone recognise either of these two as their ancestors?? I'd be interested in any information about any descendents. Thanks!
