My name is Rodney Manning, aged 78. My paternal grandmother was Catherine Fachey born Perthy Scotland and probably lived at Kinnoul that city. She married James Manning and emigrated to Australia in 1883. She was about 19, James a year younger. They travelled in the fast sailing boat Eastern Monarch. Catherine had a brother Peter and sisters Margaret,who emigrated to Massachusetts USA and married a man called Reid and Bridget who married a man Connolly (I thuink).
