I am a Failla, and my father was Giuseppe Failla from Licodia Eubea in Sicily, he was named after his grandmother, so I don't think there is a Giuseppe Failla in his lineage but I am not sure. My grandfather was Paolo Failla, he was one of seven siblings, and one of them I think called Giuseppe, although his father was Santo, who would have been similar age to the Giuseppe you refer to. My grandfather was born in 1898 and my father in 1933, just to give you some perspective. My father migrated to melbourne, Australia in 1952, and his brothers and parents followed in the late 50's and 60's during the migration boom.

there are several hundred Failla's now in melbourne all descendants from Licodia Eubea in Sicily.

Anyway would be please to share some more information with you or find alittle more about distant relatives here in Australia.
