L.C. in this originating poster's case was NOT Lewis Calvin Failor. He was married to Mary A. Jay on 11.04.1869 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio. Lewis Calvin's 4 children, including my husband's ancestor, Lewis Walter Failor (who moved to Washington) all were from the union of Lewis Calvin Failor & Mary A, Jay.

Also, for those wanting data on Lewis Calvin Failor... his parents were Peter Failor (1810-1869) & Ann Marie Rauthrauff (1818-1878).

Hope this clears up some confusion.
