Not sure if you have identified the picture yet, but my great great grandfather is William Fairbanks, who was a member of the 125th Regiment, Company B, based in Rensselaer County, NY. Rensselaer County is the next county over from Albany, NY, and at one point, he lived in Albany. I believe one of your later posts mentions a connection to Albany, NY.
