FUNERAL HELD TO-DAY FOR
SHELDON D. FAIRBANKS, 67

Funeral services for Sheldon D.
Fairbanks, 67, a native of Iowa who
died Saturday night at his home,
219 Callisch Street, were held this
afternoon at the Lisle and Ross
Chapel. The body was cremated.
Fairbanks had lived in California
fifty-six years. He came to Fresno
eight years ago.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Nellie L.
Fairbanks, he leaves two daughters,
Mrs. J. H. Crafts and Mrs. H. R.
Kanode, four sons, Frank Fairbanks,
Charles W., Willard S. and
Norman H. Fairbanks, all of Fresno;
three brothers, C. W. Fairbanks of
San Luis Obispo, E. H. Fairbanks of
McKittrick and W. A. Fairbanks of
Fresno, and three sisters, Mrs. Leo
McLaughlin of Fresno, Mrs. Allie
Babbe of Berkeley and Mrs. William
Hatfield of Oakland. There are six
grandchildren.
