Hi Malinda! It has been a very long while. Unfortunately my research was put on the backburner for a while. I have yet to find anything new on Thomas James Fairbrass. As far as Amy Davis, his wife, I can tell you that her sister was Esther (married to Samuel Buchanan Frost-- a fairly important Mormon family) and her parents were William Davis and Keziah Geers. I do have a bit more on this side if you are interested or still searching. I will continue the Fairbrass search, hopefully with eventual success. I'll let you know if I find anything!
