good day , i'm chris anderson of murwillumbah ,nsw australia seeking information on george fairbrother convict on sir godfrey webster 1826. the information i have thus far which may assist is that george is mentioned in the medical and surgical journal of the same ship. was sentenced for 7 yrs in dublin of a felony aged 19. worked for william cordeaux in the camden area of nsw. he became free by servitude, married a mary smith at all saints church, sutton forest, nsw 10th july 1843. mary was a convict on the whitby. had a son john my great, great grandfather- married a catherine gammel- had a daughter edith annie who then married william george anderson etc if you have any other details i would be most grateful for same. am travelling to uk and ireland in august to try to reconnect with roots. if you require more details will willingly furnish same. regards chris
