I believe we may be researching the same Fairfield. A David Fairfield imigrated from Ireland, served in the War of 1812 and is listed in the Bounty land book with Hugh and others,
I know the family was in Mifflin Co, Milford twp on the PA 1810 Census. I have that he married Catherin Astor[Ester] and had several children including Elizabeth Fairfield, my gggrandmother.
