COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa -- Viola Faler, 86, of Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at her daughter's home in Quincy, Ill.
Graveside services will be at the Indian Creek Cemetery of Columbus Junction.
Visitation at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Memorial may be made to the Columbus City United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Faler was born July 12, 1914, in Muscatine, the daughter of Albert and Mary Eis Wedekind. She married Ralph Faler on Feb. 13, 1932, in Morrison, Ill. He died in February 1986.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Columbus City United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include two sons, David Faler and his wife, Janice, of Columbus Junction, and Paul Faler of Eddyville; her daughter, Mary Robeson and her husband, Don, of Quincy, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; her son, Ernest; one grandson, Michael; three brothers; Floyd, John, and Ernest; and two sisters, Pauline Andreas, and Margaret Lacellas.
