I haven't been on here for a while and came across your post. I am one of the "Other" Falters LOL. I remember growing up in the 1950's when there were only 2 Falter families, mine and yours. In fact there was a girl in my second grade class named, if I remember correctly, Donna Falter. The nun thought we were twins or cousins. Of course, we weren't related.

I have been able to trace this line back to Germany where my GGGF was born in 1842. He came to Columbus in, I believe, the 1850s and he married Louisa Waas. He was the master brewer for brewery here in Columbus.
