I have a John Farlow in my line who was born somewhere around 1670-80. I don't know his wife's name. He came to Roan County near Salisbury, NC, in 1760, apparently after buying land in 1758. He had a son, Michael, born approx. 1708 who was married to a Mary White.

This John Farlow is the son of Thomas Farlow, who is the son of another John Farlow who was the son of the Thomas Farlow who came from England in 1623.

I have nothing about a woman named McCloskey, but would be interested in pursuing her relationship to the John you have in your line and the John I have in mine. Since I do not know the name of my John's wife, it is possible we could be connected.

You mentioned a Nelson Farlow - I have nothing about a Nelson in my line. Do you have any other names, dates. etc. that you could send me? I could check and see if any of them are mentioned in my research.
