Surnames: Farmer, Glass
My GGGG Uncle, Matthew Farmer, moved to St. Charles County in the 1830's.
He previously lived in Chesterfield, Halifax and Franklin Counties in Virginia.
We believe that Matthew's wife was Margaret Molly Glass. According to records I found in the St. Charles court records, at least some of their children were Mary, William, Elizabeth, Nancy, Samuel B., and John G.
We believe Matthew was born in about 1761 in Virginia. He was the brother of my GGG Grandfather, Barnard Farmer. Their father was Frederick Farmer, Sr. It appears Matthew died in about 1835 in Missouri.
Could Samuel B. Farmer, son of Matthew Farmer, be the Sam Farmer you mentioned?
That's the extent of my research of the Farmer's in Missouri. I have been
unsuccessful in tracing any of Matthew's children in Missouri.
