hello ann iam trying to find out if you have any links with farndell close chichester as i am told this close was named as there were two tithe barns on that site in or around 1066 to 1100ad. i am told that my roots to the family started in or around the french german border with the spelling fern-dale or farndale or vern-dale please reply if you have any idea.
