PLEASANT VALLEY, Iowa -- Lorene M. Farrell, 76, of Pleasant Valley died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus.
Service at the Runge Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial will be at National Cemetery in Rock Island, Ill.
Mrs. Farrell was born Oct. 11, 1924, in Hancock, Minn., the daughter of John and Edna Friedengr Mogler. She married Virgil Farrell in 1946, in Davenport. He preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1978.
She had been a cook at area nursing homes for more than 20 years prior to her retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Ray Farrell of Modesto, Calif., Rodney Farrell of Muscatine, and Steve Farrell of Rock Island, Ill.; a daughter, Joyce Montgomery of Silvis, Ill.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Andy Mogler of Lester.
