looking for information on Jeremiah Farrell born about 1831 in Ireland, was living in New Rochelle NY in 1850 working as a blacksmith. Married Catherine Duffey (Duffy) and had at least four children; Ellen, James, John and Mary E. He was a prominent member of the community and friends with Father McLoughlin. Jeremiah passed away in New Rochelle in 1873 and was burried in St Josephs cemetery (aka old catholic cemetery.) I'm looking to find if he is any relation to Mary Farrell O'Neil of Mamaroneck.
