Trying to connect with a family of Ferrington/Farrington who live in the Manchester, England area. Specifically Stanley Ferrington who married Margaret Napier. Both now deceased. My connection is through Hilda, their daughter who emigrated to the USA in the 1950's.

Hello, I am trying to find an actual obituary account on Jules V. Farrington B 13 sept 1892 SS issued in Nebraska and D 27 November 1991 at 99. I believe he was a doctor. Does anyone have the correct info on these folks yet? I have a marriage date of 23 Apr 1649 for John Farrington and Mary Bullard, in Dedham, MA.

The info I have for Mary Bullard was that she was born in 1628 in Barnham, Suffolk, England and died 12 May 1703 in New Haven, CT. Does anyone know if this is correct??

I am a descendant through their son John born in 1654 and his wife Mary Janes. Then through their daughter Mary Farrington who married into the Cobb family.

If anyone has any info or corrections I would appreciate it.

I am not sure about his children. But my mother has referenced Brenda as her cousin. I believe Ardell is still alive in Greensboro. I have been researching the family line and I believe, if Grover C Farrington is your Grandfather ,I have been able to track the bloodline back to London, England 1470. I will try and call you tomorrow afternoon.

My mother is Virginia Farrington.

My wife's grandmother was a Dorothy or Dorothea Farrington (born Farrington, adopted by Wells). Born sometime around 1905, adopted by the Wells probably in the 1910-1912 timeframe.
She married Thomas Winchenbach of Waldoboro Maine probably around 1919-1920.
She left him and their 3 daughters behind around 1926, and no trace of her since then. Some indications are that she may have gone south to Va.
Could be an amazing coincidence but ...

NEED HELP finding Farringtons from IN/IL

After going through all the posts on here and most of the trees, I am still at a dead end. I am looking for information on William (Wm) A. Farrington born about 1811 maybe 1820 parents unknown. We know that he married Maria De Witt (maiden name Taylor) on Oct 5 1854 in Dearborn County, Indiana. Shortly after marring Maria, a widow (with at least 9 children, 4 known of), the family moved to Illinois to Clayton Twp in Woodford County. The family shows up on the 1860 census.

I am descended from Peter Gruner/Cruner/Crowner, who married Christopher and Elizabeth's daughter. Peter and Christopher were apparently both Hessian mercenaries. I would be curious as to whether you ever discovered any information on who Elizabeth's parents were.

I am wondering if you are the author of the book on the Clintsmans. If so, I would be interesting in obtaining a copy. I saw a notice for it when I was at the Library of Congress last summer, but haven't been able to locate the book.

Looking for info on parentage of Charlotte Farrington - born sometime before 1770 and died 1787, probably in NY. Married David Rose born 1757 of Orange Cty, NY.

Charlotte had nicknames: Accy or Ackly or Ackey

David Rose had a daughter Charlotte Farrington Rose born shortly before Charlotte Farrington's death in 1787, so I believe this was her and David's daughter.

Charlote Farrington Rose named her first child Ackey.

I have in my possession a Book of Common Prayer of the Protestant Episcopal Church presented to a George Farrington by his family Christmas 1869. I have no idea where he was from - my family was mostly in central and eastern New York at that time. My grandmother claims that Elizabeth was American or Canadian indian. Black Crow, Black Foot, she couldn't remember. Any information would be appreciated.

I have not found anything on Elizabeth's parents. There was one FARRINGTON who passed through the Columbia County area, but I cannot tie him to Elizabeth. FARRINGTON is a very large CT family.
