Edward McPherson Farrior
Edward McPherson Farrior, age 93, a resident of Union Springs, died Friday, May 20, 2005, in a Montgomery hospital.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 22, 2005, at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Union Springs with the Rev. Robin Wilson and the Rev. Bruce Hose officiating.
Mr. Farrior, a World War II veteran, was an inductee of the Field Trial Hall of Fame and a member of the Union Springs Exchange Club.
Survivors include his wife, Floyd Pugh Farrior; one son, James Edward “Jef” Farrior of Atlanta; three daughters, Emily Farrior and Herman Watts of Indian Springs, Caroline Chappell Powell of Tuscaloosa and Becky Chappell Glagola of Gainesville, Fla.; two grandsons, Chad and Shanda Watts and Tyler Watts; and one great-granddaughter, Blakley Watts.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the memorial service on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
