Hello,

Susan Elizabeth Ranner nee Fathers was my great grandmother and is buried in Cheveley.

Susan was born in 1883 and Chritopher Ranner born in 1882.

Can anyone help me to find Susan's family pre marriage?

I seek kin of Jesse Fathers marr Hannah Cox, 1858 at Preston Bissett, Buckinghamshire. Both born c1833. Children; William, Annie, Thomas and Walter Jesse. All born Preston Bissett except Jesse, he's Kingsutton, Northamptonshire. In 1901 census, family living at Whaddon, Buckinghamshire.

My Great Grandfather Charles had a brother Caleb. Born Dec. 26 1865 in Bladon Oscon. Married Dec 26 1895 to Ada Fosc. His father Robert was from King-Sutton. Died in Sleaford Feb 28 1914 his mother was Sarah Clarke Willoughby.

I wonder, do you have info going further back from george, and what was Dinahs maiden name? We have always presumed it to be Hicks, going on the trdition of using the mothers maiden name as a second christian name for son/daughter!

Hi I have just come across the posting re John Fathers who married Clara Goodgame. I have come acroos them. John' s line can be traced back to link with my 4 x great grandparents George & Diana Fathers . So if you would like to contact me I will send details - we are cousins of some sort

I have been searching for any trace of Edward Fathers,he was born in 1855, was a member of the South Wales Borderers Regt, and spent a few years in India. He married Edith Emma ( she became the head mistress of Popham school after his death in 1922) they had several children, Edith,May,Dorothy---My Grandmother, who was born in ALVERSTOCK Nr Gosport Hants----Percival,Kimberley,Marguerite,Gladys, Phyllis,Gwendolin and some who died at birth/young. The family spent many years in Alverstock/Gosport area, but also spent years traveling with the Army. Can anyone help?

Nancy I received your message. My Emma Fathers came from Hethe in Oxfordshire, Married my GGfather Samuel Knibbs. Emma's forebears are from Hethe, and Emma's decendents still live in the Bicester, Fringford, Hethe area. I don't think there is a connection but if you find a link plese let me know.
