Hello Joyce, My Ancestor is Francoise Faucheux,born c. 1735 married to Michael Friloux, I think she is a sister to Francois Faucheux, but have not been able to prove this, however from researching I have some information on Faucheux family.
Francoise [Francoise and Marie Lacoste], b. July 28, 1755, s. Michel Friloux @[Friloute] and Marie Francoise Bauche [SLC, B3,45] Volume 2, p.119 Archdiocese of New Orleans Sacramental Records..[this Francoise married Genevieve Maillard]

The sponsors are my ggggg-grandparents, which makes me think she may have been Francois's older sister, somehow they are related. I wich I could find the information from someone.

Jacque Philippt, born May 1, 1745
Marie Magdeleine, born May 7, 1749, married Isay Du Montier, 1767
Marie Jeanne married Pierre Guerin and had son Francois Guerin, bornSep. 6, 1774, New Orleans, La., Marie Jeanne second marriage to Luis Champiny,married 1786
Francois Faucheux married Genevieve Maillard.

All of these children's parent's are listed under Francois Faucheux and Marie Lacoste, no where is the surname Bossie written, this has me confused. What is your source for the Bossie surname?
