Maybe you have the connection to my ggrandfather Valentine Faulhaber b. abt Aug 1834 Baden, Germany, came to USA abt 1852. Valentine's parents born in Germany. Valentine's first wife:Catherine (Caroline) Leimbach b . abt 1842 in Ohio, d. abt 1873, m. before 1859. Second wife: Margaret (Maggie) (Hamer or Hammer or Hemmer) b. Jun 1844, Bavaria, m. abt 1875. Children from both marriages. Resided in or near Vermilion, Erie County, Ohio, for the majority of his life. Valentine enlisted 11 Jun 1861 in the Ohio Enlisted K. Co. 23rd Inf. Reg.
