I don't know if you are still researching this family tree- a number of years have gone by! My great grandfather was Herbert Dent Falkner. My grandfather was his eldest son, Herbert Deal Falkner, born in Darjeeling in 1891. He married Margaret Blackmore and was himself stationed in India. My father was his son, Richard Eric Falkner. The family lived in Exeter to end up with. Nice to know we have NZ cousins.
