Hi - just returned from the Old Burg cemetery in Martinton, Illinois. Only my GGGrandfater John and First son John F. Jr are there. Both stones give wife's first name and all the births and death dates. While there I noticed A stone very hard to read but on top was MARIA blank line next then J Faupel died (maybe) 5/7/1877 27 yrs. 5 mo. I believe that Marie was 27 in May 1877 therefor born around 1849-50. That does fit
the range but my Mary Euchner passed 6/20/1910 at 73. I have no sibling info of John Sr. except that he emigrated about 1854 at 16 and possibly with a brother. Could there have also been a sister, question. Mary was a Stoffer(Stauffer-Stouffer) and very little on her. From some of the other stones Maria may have been a daughter, guess by size of stone and similar children stones view. Connection ??
