Fauver or Fauvre family in New York: 1800-1830

Classification: Query
Surnames: Fauver, Fauvre, Cadwell
I have one Magdalene or Magdalena Fauver (could be spelled Fauvre) - born abt 1827 in New York. She married a William Cadwell (b.1807) and lived with him in Lagro Township, Wabash Co., Indiana in 1850. According to that census, there were 4 children: Sarah (8), Mary A. (6), James (4), and baby Magdalene, born 1850. (This baby Magdalene is my g-g-great grandmother.)

However, there is no further census information on William & Magdalene Fauver Cadwell - which leads me to believe there was a possible divorce. There is another census (1860) which shows a Magdalena Cadwell living with one Charles Cadwell and a child, Francis M. (8). I believe this Charles and my William were brothers, but I cannot confirm that. Both censuses have Magdalene born in New York and they are the same age.

I am completely stuck. Does anyone have any information on a Fauver or Fauvre family living in New York around 1800-1830 with a daughter Magdalene? I would like to break this wall down.

Thanks!
