My second try in replying to you..hit the delete I think..Joseph fauver sure is a mystery..I've been at this for an alful lot of years and the paper trail is scant for sure. The only thing I found of interest lately came a few days ago..have not had time to check it out. It was a message on Ancestry from "Werner2006.. he or she claims there is a Sarah Fauver born around 1790..married an Isaac Malcom Bunnell..Joseph Fauver is listed as her father.Who knows???
Jarvis Royal..I have some things on him..military records from the War of 1812 containing letters to Washington DC written by his hand..."American Civil War Soldiers" containing enlistment info.."Civil War Prisoner of War Records -Confederate Prisoner of War info..US Army reg of enlistments discribing his appearance, occupation at time of enlistment, etc..US National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldier records containing info on him including religion (Protestant),marriage status (single) and states a sister Amanda Wallin of Bridgeton, Cumberland Co, also states the kind and degree of disability as GSW-head (?gun shot wound-head?)Ihave the County Clerk's Record of Cumberland Co marriages which states in Book A -Amanda Royal to Seeley Wallen on Mar 23, 1837..Ouestion to sure are you of Amanda & Jarvis' mother being Mary Fauver? I have Frederick and Phoebe's daughter as Mary Elizabeth Fauver b.8-4-1788 d. 2-23-1869 married to William Painter at the Walnut St. church in Salem NJ..possible children of William and Elizabeth: 1-Sarah A. Painter b 1813 m Lot Harris. 2-another child listed, name unk. Another dau of Fred.&Phoebe perhaps is Elizabeth (no info on given to me by Jerri Costa)There is a Sarah Royal that appeared in salem co NJ Genealogical Data p. 321..her death date is 8-12-1845 60yrs old..also buried there is William Royal b 12-11-1776 d. 9-9-1841 . William's will was made out in 1825. would love it if you could share the probate file in much appreciation for the offer. When I get my files out of the boxes I'll look for more. Had all of this on a program that fragmented my information and then I lost it.I am now in the process of re-entering into another program. To make matters worse we are renovating our house in the Poconos on the weekends and it is taking up the spare time I would ordinarily use researching. FYI my e-mail is is late, i hope this made some sense. Thank you..pat
