I'm a Fauver descendant, g, g, grandmother was Elizabeth Fauver Schellinger (1821-1885), d/o James, s/o Frederick, s/o Heinrich. I'm working with a couple of other Fauver-researchers, trying to find the origins of one Joseph Fauver (ca.1763-1806). Joseph was a Revolutionary Soldier and builder of the "crooked-end house" located in Bridgeton; it was built 1792, and is still standing and occupied today. The specific elements of info that are missing on Joseph are: his mother and father's names, DoB, full name of his first wife (btb Sylva or Sylvia, not sure), and date of first marriage. Although we believe Joseph may have been the son of Frederick and his second wife, Maria Magdalena, we're not sure when Joseph was actually born. We are trying to find source dox that establish the missing info elements cited above. Any info you may have could help us resolve these issue.
Additionally, I have been researching the life of Jarvis Royal (1818-1895) s/o Mary Fauver Royal, d/o Frederick, and believe I can provide additional info if your research is not comlete. I have retrieved Jarvis' probate file from the town of Ord, NE, where died. It's very interesting, full of family facts and photos of Jarvis. Happy to share if you're interested.
