I am researching Fauxes in Pa. as "Faux" was my maiden name. From a distant relative, I have a Michael G. Faux who married Della [Unknown]. They had at least four children--Clarence, Mabel, "Author" (maybe the "Arthur" you mention), and a fourth, "Unknown." Mabel died at only four years old. Perhaps the fourth child was your mother? This Michael Faux was living in Phila. in 1930, as noted in the obituary of one of his siblings, Elizabeth (Faux) (Eroh) Maize. If this info. sounds familiar, I'd be interested in exchanging other information.

Michael G. Faux was born in Hollenback Twp., Luzerne Co., Pa., a son of Michael Faux/Fauchs/Fuchs, who came to the U.S. from Prussia in 1835. I am descended from Michael Faux ("Sr.") through his son Reuben.
