Lorraine Opal Fay, daughter of L. F. and Margaret (Reardon) Fay, was born February 13, 1923 in West Bend, Iowa. She attended schools in the area and graduated in 1941. Following graduation she attended Cosmetology School in Des Moines. Lorraine was employed as a beautician in Emmetsburg.
Lorraine died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Home in Estherville, Iowa at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and sisters, Myrtle Schumacher, Earl Fay, Harold Fay, Leslie Fay, Donald Fay, Robert Fay, Eileen Marsh, Lenora Sorenson, Mabel Sorenson and Orville Fay in infancy.
She is survived by her sister, Jane Hough of Emmetsburg, IA; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Fay of Wallingford, IA and Mae Fay of Boone, IA; several nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
