He only saw me once, shortly after I was born in 1945, so I never got to talk to him. I am grateful for this information, and will provide what fill-in I can. I have one question for you: I have a different birth date for Margaret Elizabeth Barton, and I have good reason to believe that her birth year was 1880, rather than 1881. She lived with us for a while when I was a child, and showed me a Canadian dime with 1880 on it, which she claimed was given to her by someone as a keep sake of her birth year. As far as I know, she was born in Bathurst, NB, in 1880.
