Hi Art,
I just saw your message from 2000. I also have Fayette in my family. In a 1901 New brunswick census I found: George Fayett, b: July 12, 1861 married to Catherine b:March 1870 they had seven children listed.
Eva M. March 20, 1878 ( this makes Catherine's birth date doubtful but sometimes dates are hard to read on the original.) Margaret B. August 10, 1882. Maud A. B: Jan 24, 1891. Frances E. B: Jan 22, 1893. Cora A. B; Dec. 20, 1895.
Samuel W.Born: Jan 7, 1897. Viola M. born: March 14 1901, 3 weeks old at time of census. The family resided in Waterford, Kings, New Brunswick.
Hope this is helpful, G. F.

Joseph and Dora (FAYETTE) CONTO Family, Malone, NY
I am a 2nd cousin, twice removed to Dora (Fayette) Conto (born: April 1888, died: Apruil 05, 1925 at the age of 37.

Dora was married to Joseph Conto (born: 1888, died: 1956).

When Dora died young at age 37, she and Joseph Conto had 8 children at the time, the eldest being only 13 years old born 1911 - 1912. This child's name is unknown. Of the eight children born to Joseph and Dora (Fayette) Conto I know only of the following:

1. unknown Conto, born 1911 - 1912

2. Agnes M. Conto, born: 1915, died: 1986
married Eli J. Deragon, born: 1912, died: 1972.

3. Albert G. Conto, born: February 18, 1920, a Radio Operator Gunner who died at Mothan Davis Field, in Tucson, Pima Co., AZ on April 12, 1943. He was married to Eva Blair.

These known family members are all buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Andrus Street, Malone, Franklin Co., New York. Joseph and Dora and children lived in the Chasm Falls area of Malone, NY at least until her death in 1925. There are other Conto's buried in the Notre Dame Cemetery and other cemeteries in the area but no solid proof of connecting them to Joseph and Dora.

If anyone knows the names of all the remaining Conto children, I would appreciate it if you could pass these on to me along with any other data that you have on them (marriages, deaths, children, locations, etc.)

If anyone has info on any of these family members, particularly about the eight Joseph & Dora (Fayette) Conto children and their spouses and descendants, then, please, contact me through this forum. And if posssible PLEASE INCLUDE THE SOURCES of your information or let me know if you yourself are descended from any of them and how you are descended. Thank you.

Jeannette T.
Re: George W. Bolsigner

As someone who posts messages here in several family name catagories looking for information or links to my family history, I'd like to make a suggestion to you. It usually helps if you post your message in the message board that matches the surname of the person you are looking for. It can bring about a lot of responses. I noticed that there was no "Bolsinger" message board so I opened one up for you. Here is the aancestry.com address that will bring you directly to it:
http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/brd/an/56E.2ACEAE

Don't give up just because that board is empty right now because I am the one who opened up the Sancomb message board and posted the very first message there and now there are lots of others who have posted to that board. I have since gained a lot of new information on that line of my family that I never would have had. Distant cousins who I never knew existed also contacted me providing me with info I needed.

I have no Bolsinger ties but thought maybe I could help in some little way. I have seen other Bolsinger's posting their messages in other boards too since there was no Bolsinger surname board so you may want to copy the message that you posted here into the Bolsinger room.

Good luck to you.
