I am researching Bob Feagin and his son John Feagin from Union Springs, AL and hoping someone can share more info on this family.

Bob Feagin was married to Henrietta aka Hattie Bernes(not sure of the spelling of her last name). There children were: Caleb, Mary, Anna, James and John Feagin if I've correctly stated.

From what I have you are right in what you have. John Birley and his wife had at least 5 children, 2 Boys and 3 Girls. the boys were Boyd and Donald, the girls were Joyce, Eunice and Dawn. This information is a from the genealogy records done by John D Feagin Sr. That is all he had on the family of John Birley. He didnot give any information on any of the children though.

I am not sure, but I think my gr.gr.grandfather may have been Eli W Feagin. He was married to Eugenia D'Rosa Cook. I think he is the father of John A. Feagin who was married to Minnie Mary Yates, who may have been my grandfather's parents,John Birley Feagin, who was married to Jennie Warren.I hope this is the right family because I can't find a marriage date for my grandparents.Any help you can give if this is right. Wife of George W. Feagin - Macon , Russell, & Bullock Co. Al

Cicero McBryde married Dorothea Arnold, daughter of William W. Arnold probably living in Russell Co. Al and unknown wife. She had previously been married to George W. Feagin.

This info comes to me from the Macon Co. Al historian who found a probate paper for William W. Arnold who died and George W. Feagin was appointed executor. But Feagin died before the estate could be settled and then Dorothea Arnold Feagin became executrix.

This was in Macon Co. because Arnold owned property there.

Source: Macon Co. Loose Records Collection Box 1 file 31.

Any info on George W. Feagin is appreciated. Is he part of the Feagins from Midway, Bullock Co. AL?

My Grandfather was Green DeWitt Carter, who I believe was her son. He lived in Howe, Texas and married Matsie Hopper from TN. They had three Children, one of which was my Dad.I have someone working on my family history and would be interested in exchanging any info I might have with you. I just recently started my quest for my ancestors and my grandparents are Dennis Feagin and Bernice Feagin(haslip) from Georgiana Al. Lonnie and Myra are my grandpa's parents. my grandpa passed away Dec 3, 2005. I got as far as Tom feagin on my family tree, i was told he was married to a Maggie ? but that she was his 2ND wife. my grandpa dennis feagin his mother Myra Crittendon cant find who her parents were. if any one can help me email at Qahira1@att.net

Yes, and My grandmother was Mary Viola Feagin. Alot of the people are getting her mixed up with another Viola Feagin. My grandmother was born in 1900 and she is not found in a Census until 1910. She Married a Cook and had 11 children. She died in 1975 and is buried in Andrews Cemetery in Andrews, SC. When I was real young I met her brothers. It is so exciting to find all of the new kin people, even though we are some what distant. James Alfred was my g grandfather.

The Emily FEAGIN b.1839 married Jacob MOODY. They are listed in the 1860 census of Tyler Co, TX. I descend from Jacob and Emily.

Jacob died about 1863 and I have no idea what happened to Emily. I assume she died before 1870. Their children Jacob and Maranda were in the household of their grandparents, Levi and Rebecca Moody in the 1870 census of Polk Co, TX.

Seeking info on this couple who married in 1858 in Sumter Co, GA. Found in 1860 census in Georgia, can't find in 1870 census. Believe this couple is the same as A. H. Davenport & M. W. in the 1880 census in Texas although age of M.W. and birthplace of her parents doesn't fit.

I read your transcription of the will of William H. Feagin on the Sumter Co, GA website. I'm interested in one of his daughters, Mary W. Feagin who married Almanza H. Davenport on 6 Apr 1858. Do you have any info on this couple? I have found them in the 1860 census (in Georgia) and I believe in the 1880 census (in Texas). I have been unable to locate them in 1870 or after 1880. Any light you can shed will be much appreciated. I will be happy to share what I know about this couple.
