Anyone know anything about Roy Franklin Pylesand his wife Obereta L. Pyles (Feather)- She was born April 16, 1916, in Kingwood.
she was a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Nettie E. Forman Feather. This is her obituary:
Obereta L. Pyles
Obereta L. Pyles, 86, formerly of Pleasant Street, Morgantown, passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, in Baltimore, Md., at the home of her daughter.
She was born April 16, 1916, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Nettie E. Forman Feather.
She was a Methodist by faith and a graduate of Morgantown High School.
She is survived by two daughters, Eva Hasto, of Norway, and Martha and spouse Harold Jolle, of Baltimore; two sons, Roy F. and spouse Debbie Pyles and Willis H. and Rene Pyles, all of Baltimore; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Pyles; one daughter, Ethel Marie Pyles; four sisters, Lola Denkenberger, Myra Feather, Ethel F. Ellis and Mary Jane Feather; seven brothers, Frank, Joe, Merle, Lloyd C. Herbert P., John and James Feather.
Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, the time of service with Dr. Stacy Groscup officiating.
Burial will follow at Long Hollow Cemetery near Manown, in Preston County.
Donations may be made in her memory to Wesley Chapel Cemetery Association at Long Hollow C/O J. Ronald Feather, Route 1 Box 27, Greens Run Road, Kingwood, WV 26537.
I cant find any sure results on him-but maybe someone is reladed to the family???? I am trying to find the ancesters of my kids on there grandmother (father-Roy Inge Håstø`s mother-Eva Pyles)Roy Franklin Pyles And Obereta lucille feather is Eva`s parent.
