Hi Colm,
For you daughter:
The Shield is: Red and ermine with three gold cups.
The Crest is: A griffin holding an olive branch.
The motto is: "Deo Patriesque Fidelis
I have a computer generated picture that I would be happy to send, just email me at : dotsybabin@cs.com
Also, somewhere I have the translation of the motto, and the meaning of everything, will have to dig them up for you!
Now, I'm intrigued, think you are the first Feehan I've run across with roots to Roscrea, you wouldn't happen to have a Timothy Feehan, born abt 1834 who married Mary Honner, daughter of John Honner, from Rossdorragha, County Laios
hanging anywhere on your tree would you? They left Ireland shortly after their marriage, abt. 1855, and went to South Australia. Timothy is my ongoing Stone wall!
