Mrs. Mary Feeney, aged 78 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wade Hampton, on Sunday, November 24. She had been in ill health for the past several months. Mrs. Feeney had been a member of the Church of Christ of this place for more than 50 years. She was a woman who possessed a splendid Christian character and a bright and happy disposition.
The funeral services were conducted at the home of her brother, Mr. W.D. Medearis, on Monday morning by Elders T.C. Little and D.E. Mason. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Wade Hampton, Mrs. Roy O'Neal, of Huntsville, and Mrs. Hugh Kirkpatrick, of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Raymond, of Jackson, Miss., and Robert, of Louisiana; two brothers, Mr. H.D. Medearis, of Pulaski, and Mr. W.D. Medearis, of Fayetteville, and one sister, Mrs. Lou Smith, of this place.
