This is very interesting to me. My husbands paternal aunt, cornella antypowich married John (Johann)Peters, who as born in Winkler Manitoba but came to Saskatchewan to farm. I wonder if John as related to Maria Kristina Peters.

Also my husbands maternal grandfather, Alois Matzner worked for the Redakop family when he came to Canada from Austria. When he brought his Wife Annie and their 3 children to Canada,they got off the train at Clarksboro (Clarkes Crossing) where he met them. They spent the first winter in the house of Jacob Fehr. I am trying to track down information about Alois's property and learn something about their life.
