As you can see I have not checked the boards in a long time. Hope you are still out there.
Louisa's parents were Gustav and Annetta (Schulz) Fehr, Each born about 1825 in Germany. They arrived here together with, I think, Annetta's brother Karl in about 1850. They had several children and had a dairy farm in, I think Bergan county. Gustav ran off to Canada to avoid serving in the Civil War with a servantgirl (so goes family lore) and was never heard from again. I know he had brothers or cousins here also, but know nothing about them. Anything sound familiar? D. Haviland
