I am assuming that we are along the same lines, meaning 5 generations back from Michael. I am also assuming you are in your early to middle thirties as I just turned 37 four days ago. I never knew of Josephine's brother Karl (Charles). I only had her as an only child. I am from Josephine's line. She married John Reger. Theire daughter Annie Agath married Joseph James Kavanagh. Their son J.J. Jr is my grandfather who was born in Minnesota, so the lines migrated to the same locations. I have not been to PA, although I will be in Philly this summer. Is that far from Cambria? I have been to Germany. I spent 2 years playing American football there and loved it. I can't wait to go back. Before I was able to track Michael down I was unsure of where in Germany the came from other than the state of Baden-Wurtenburg. I was in Frankfurt and was unsuccessful in tracking anything down. Now I know they are from Kappel Am Rhein and will return one day to at least oversee the place they lived. I have traced back to Martin Fehrenbacher to an assumed birth year of 1668. I am looking to go beyong Martin, but again have been unsuccessful. What is strange is that you mention the Farabaugh name and that they even broke of to the name of Bachar. What is scary is I dated a girl with the last name Bachar when I was younger and now wonder if there was any familial connection. If I have anything I find I will definitely share it with you. If you have anything else I would appreciate hearing about it and thank you tremenedously for the bio on Michael. It is always exciting to meet a relative, no matter how far removed or distant they may be. It's even more interesting to see if we share any of the traits or characteristics that our ancestors had. I know I have the German temper. haha. I look forward to hearing from you again. Have a great night.
