Classification: Query
Surnames: Feigen, Feigenbaum, Levin, Levin
My great grandfather's name was Dr. Phillip Feigen and his mother's name was Miriam. He was chief of staff at Chicago's St. Mary's Hospital. He was married to Bertha Levin who came to the U.S. from Canada. He had eight children Herman, Manual, Arthur, Tobina, Sterra, Albert, Morton and Leona. They lived on the West Side of Chicago. My grandfather was Morton who died in 1989, and the only surviving child is Leona Tewels. One of my Uncles was Albert who is a prominent lawyer in Washington D.C. until he died in 1995. One of my cousins (second cousin) is Richard Feigen who owns several prominent art galleries in chicag, new york and Los Angeles. His sister Brenda was a feminist lawyer who lives somewhere in california. They are the children of Arthur Feigen. My mother has been trying to research her grandfather's family and has come up against some dead ends. Maybe you can help, please write to me or to my Mom at Bobbie45@aol.com.

I have a real interest in finding out more about my grandfather and his family.

Sincerely,
Katina Levin
