My great grandfather was a Harry or Harris Feinberg - He came to America around 1864, but we believe from a town named Suwalka, but could be elsewhere. He died in 1898 and is burried in the old cemetary all the way out Springfield blvd - maybe Ozone park. His wife's name was Hanah Golda. They had many children, my grandfarther being one named Herman Samuel Feinberg. Herman married Emma Driesen and he had several siblings including a sister named Bessie. They eventually all lived in the Bronx. Herman and Emma had four children that reached adulthood - I do not know if there were any infant deaths although there are several baby markers in the Harris Feinberg family plot area. Their children were my father, Horton and his three sisters Beatrice, Alice and Florence. All were born between 1905 and 1912. Herman died in 1929 at age 45 and Emma lived on until 1954.

Who knows? Maybe your Harry and my great grandfather are the same people?

best regards.
