This is my needle in a haystack. All I know about her is that she married Hershel (Harry) Asatinsky in Russia. They lived in Dniepropetrovsk (or Ekaterinaslav) and immigrated to the U.S. before 1923. They had six children, the first five born in Europe (May, Betty, Kay, Esther, and Lou) and the youngest, Roissa (Ruth) born in the U.S. They settled in Detroit, MI.

Does any of this sound like it might connect to your Feinsteins? I have no information on Pauline's family or her Hebrew or Yiddish name. My mother-in-law's birth certificate lists her mother's name as Pol Isaera, which I think was someone trying to write the name phonetically. My mother-in-law, Ruth, says her mother's name was Pauline.

Any help would be appreciated. I have little information from the couple of children still living.
