LANCASTER: Thomas D. " Tom" Feisel age 53, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2013.
He was born August 24, 1959 to George and Patricia (Gill) Feisel in Detroit, Michigan.
Tom was a 1977 graduate of Lancaster High School, where he participated in track and cross country, was a member of the debate team, played the saxophone with the Swinging Gales instrumental group and was a former member of the DeMolay.
He continued his education first at the University of Dayton where he played in the marching band; then at New Mexico State University where he received his nursing degree and ultimately receiving his Bachelor's Degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix.
Tom spent the majority of his nursing career in adolescent psychiatry. Tom was an active volunteer with the Kiwanis Little League. He was an avid advocate of the martial arts and recently received his black belt in taekwondo from the Lancaster ATA Martial Arts where he was an instructor.
Survived by his wife Patricia, his children; Tiffany, Patric, Cody and Garen, granddaughter Zoey, his mother Patricia (Paul) Lumpkin, his father George (Karen) Feisel, brothers and sister; Keith (Nancy) Feisel, Kevin (Elizabeth) Feisel, Angela Gross, Tyler (Jessica) Jeffries, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M., Wednesday June 26,2013 at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster, Ohio, with Rev. Dennis Sparks officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday and 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday.
