My email address is ronkotliar1@aol.com

I know that the Feld Family is a part of my Sachs Family. I do not know how they are connected. Could be with your father or your mother. That is my main interest. What is your name? I received information many years ago from a Valerie Simpson. It would be nice to make contact with you so I can show you what I have.

I AM THE BROTHER OF GLEN EUGENE FELD, WHO WAS BORN IN PIQUA, KANSAS. I WAS BORN IN NEOSHO FALLS, KANSAS (both are in Woodson county Kansas). WILLIAM HENRY FELD WAS ACTUALLY
OUR GREAT GRANDFATHER, BUT ADOPTED OUR FATHER, GLEN AUGUST FELD, WHO WAS BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK TO MARY MAGDALENA FELD, THE OLDEST OF HENRY AND CATHERINE FELD'S DAUGHTERS.
THE STORY, HANDED DOWN BY MY MOTHER, LETA FAYE (JONES) FELD, WAS THAT MAGDALENA, (nicknamed Lena), ELOPED AND MARRIED AN INDIAN, WHICH WAS A NO, NO, IN THOSE DAYS. HENRY FELD HAD THE MARRIAGE ANNULLED, HOWEVER, I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY LEGAL RECORDS ON THE MARRIAGE OR ANNULLMENT.
THERE ARE NEOSHO COUNTY COURT RECORDS OF A MARRIAGE BETWEEN LENA FELD, AND WALTER S. LAWRENCE, WHICH ENDED IN DIVORCE AFTER ABOUT
3 YEARS. GLEN AUGUST FELD WAS BORN SHORTLY BEFORE THAT MARRIAGE, AND SINCE HE WAS NEVER GIVEN THE LAWRENCE NAME, HE OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT
WALTER'S SON.
I WOULD LIKE TO FIND THE RECORDS OF THE MARRIAGE AND ANNULLMENT. SINCE I COULDN'T FIND THEM IN NEOSHO COUNTY, KANSAS RECORDS, I MUST
ASSUME, IF IT IS TRUE, LENA WAS MARRIED TO THE INDIAN IN ANOTHER COUNTY.
AFTER DIVORCING WALTER LAWRENCE, LENA MARRIED A GUSTOV KNOBLICH, AND THEY LIVED IN FORT SCOTT, KANSAS. THEY HAD SEVERAL CHILDREN.
DOROTHY IS STILL LIVING, IN AMARILLO, TX, AND AGNES IS STILL LIVING IN FORT SCOTT, KANSAS.

TO KEEP THE RECORDS STRAIGHT, CHARLES, SON OF MY BROTHER GLEN EUGENE FELD, IS CHARLES EUGENE FELD, WHO LAST LIVED IN TACOMA, WASH.
I AM CHARLES EDWARD FELD, AND LIVE IN TEXAS.
I AM THE YOUNGER BROTHER OF GLEN EUGENE FELD,
AND UNCLE OF CHARLES EUGENE FELD.
I AM STILL LOOKING FOR INFO ABOUT WILLIAM HENRY FELD'S PARENTS AND ANY SIBLINGS, WHO WERE FROM THE KINGDOM OF HANOVER GERMANY. ALSO ANY INFO ABOUT THE MARRIAGE OF LENA FELD TO AN
INDIAN, MOST LIKELY IN KANSAS OR OKLAHOMA. MOM
ALWAYS SAID WE WERE PART BLACKFOOT INDIAN.
CHARLES EDWARD FELD, cfws@juno.com
Steve, my g-grandfather, William Henry Feld was born in Hannover, June 22, 1855, and came to the US in 1865. I haven't found where he entered the US, but he was in ILLINOIS, before he finally settled in Chanute, Ks. He married Catherine Rensing, who was born in ILLINOIS.

He always said he came to the US alone, and had no family.
I haven't been able to find him on the 1870 census yet, as it is not indexed.

I just wonder if he may have been related to the Lengerich line.

Chuck Feld
Fuerstenau is one of the many wonderful little villages in Emsland that we visited while in Deutschland May 15-30. We visited nearby Freren and stayed two weeks in Wettrup. My great, great, great grandfather, Bernard Heinrich Feld, was from Herzlake (born about 1785) and his son, Johan Clemens Feld, was born in Langen (1829). Clemens emigrated to St. Louis in 1858 with his fiance, Maria Anna Schonhoff.

My records from 2001 show an 1864 marriage between Johan Gerhard Feld (b-1835, son of Johan Phillip Feld and Anna Adelheid Thunemann) and Maria Agnes Funke (b-1833, the daughter of Johan Gerhard Funke and Anna Angela Reson). These folks were from Hoehne near Furstenau.

Let's work this puzzle together distant cousin. John Gerhard Feld/Helena Von der Haar and John Theodore Hemmelgarn/Maria Sohmann were the parents of John Philip Feld and Theresa Louisa Hemmelgarn (married in 1854). (John) Philip Feld emmigrated to Chicago after that time. Philip's gr gr grandson Brian lives in St. Louis. I'd like to share this and additional material.

They belonged to the Catholic Parish of Lengerich. They had several children together, I don't know how many, but one of their sons Bernard Waller was baptized at the Catholic Parish at Lengerich in 1846 and he came to the USA between 1860 and 1865-----would like any information anyone has on either the Feld or Waller family's from this part of Germany

Mark Feld aka Marc Bolan (1947-1977)

I was curious if any genealogists had tackled the ancestry of musician Mark Feld, whose stage name was Marc Bolan. He was born in London on September 30, 1947 to Simeon/Sid Feld and Phyllis Winifred Atkins. He died in a car accident in London on September 16, 1977. At the time of his death, he was still legally married to June Child, now also deceased, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Child. However, he was separated from June, and was living with Gloria Jones, by whom he had a son named Rolan Seymour Feld (who also performs under the name Bolan), born September 26, 1975 in London.

Marc Bolan's press releases deliberately fabricated his family origins, so it would be interesting to learn if anyone ever tackled this mystery!

Please contact me directly at natalie@shore.net -- I have a Web site at http://www1.shore.net/~natalie/ which discusses Marc Bolan's career, and would like to add a feature about his genealogy if possible. Thanks for your interest!

ANY informations would greatly be appreciated. The following is what I have. I have a gggrandfather Jacob Philip Herbel m.Wilhelmina Sitzenstock from Prussia. Jacob was born in 1864 and imm. in 1884. I know they had 3 children; Herbert Jacob, Norman Philip and Dorothy Herbel (Yurtz). The only brother of Jacob I know for sure is George Herbel. George and Jacob were in the grocery/milk business (Sunshine Dairy) in Cleveland Ohio. I also found a John Herbel in census in Cleveland and NY but dont know much more about them. I finally got Jacob's death cert. only to be disappointed with what else than poor writing?. Father listed is Michael and Mother listed was Barbara Ihle or Eiley?
If anything rings a bell, I would love to hear from you!
