My name is Jim Caye from Pennsylvania. Conrad and Annagela are my gt gt Grandparents. I just visited their gravesite last week in Uniondale Cemetery # 1 in Pittsburgh Pa.

I have just begun to search. My mother-in-law is a Feldbusch. Her father was Roy J. Feldbusch (b.8/22/1899-d.1/9/1970)He was born in San Francisco; died in Redwood City, CA and is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA. His father was Charles H.(Henry?) Feldbusch, and he was born in Germany - I'm not sure where. (b.2/8/1869 -d.10/27/1940). He had a sister Emma Gartland that I know of.(There may be others) He passed away in SF, and is buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Colma, CA. Their father was John D. Feldbusch, who was married to ______ Knapp. He was born in Germany. After he came to the US, he developed TB and decided to return to Germany. He stayed there for about 10 years. He decided to return because of the political situation in Germany prior to the war. That is all that I know about him. He is on the manifest for two ships at Ellis Island.

A tombstone seen in the Union Dale cemetery, Division One, Section S, Pittsburgh PA, Allegheny County:

Frederick FELDBUSCH, died June 27, 1869, "Husband", "Age 27 years & 7 months"

I saw no other FELDBUSCH graves in the area. I hope this is helpful. I have no other info as it is not my line.

Cindy.We have Henry Feldbusch . She was Elizabeth Freschholz
and she married Henry Feldbusch . SHe marrued
Henry in 1878 and they came to america 7 years later. Contact

I am interested in connecting with any of the Feldbusch families from Germany. My particular branch (including a few siblings) settled in or near Allegheny City, (Pittsburgh), PA. Some names include: Heinrich m. to Martha; Johann m. to Anna (Katherine?), and Annagela or Annie (Kunigunde) m. Conrad Voelker. Time of immigration is roughly 1849(50) - 1852. It is possible that Conrad and Annie stayed with a Feldbusch family in NY/NJ(?) after first arriving in the United States. They arrived May, 1852 and had a baby in NY state in either late 1852 or sometime in 1853, prior to coming to PA. Please contact me privately by e-mail if any of these names sound familiar. [According to ship passenger list, the family is from Kurhessen (Hessen-Kassel)]. Thanks in advance!
